what it's been

Life's turned into a crazy cyclone for me these past two years that I haven't barely touched blogging, and when i did, i made a new one, thinking i would start all over again.

Now knowing that didn't get a very good jumpstart at all. I feel like staying with my first, and most successful blog is the best choice. [not like i'll be posting more then once in a sherbet moon]

I don't know if i like the idea of blogging, i got caught up in it right around 13, i loved it. I'll make a post about that later.

For now?

i'll tell you a wee bit about how i enjoy living life, even when its hard, growing up, being a teenager, almost reaching the age of 18, being one of the last siblings living at home with parents who aren't exactly my "best friend." I still am very thankful they've stuck around, and loved me, in my life so far.

life gets hard. real, hard.

whether it be friends, brothers and sisters, parents, myself, God, school, people, that guy on across the street calling you  a b*tch just because your holding a friends baby.. What ever it is.

sometimes it's the littlest things. That doesn't meant it doesn't matter to God.

God knows.

God cares.

God wants you to know he loves you, and cares about what is hurting you.

Nothing like a bowl of shredded wheat, and the Oxford Annotated Bible on a good afternoon of all blessings from above, when nothing else could get worse...

I read the story of Noah, in the inspiration of the new movie, that i've heard is out.

Loads of thoughts about it, whether it's biblical or not. I'm sure it's still has some good things you can see from it. i mean, hey. It might drive a lot of people to actually READ what really happened. 

later that night, a bunch of new crazy feelings got thrown into my head. the feeling of hurt, care, judgement, sadness for others.. and a few more i can't even start to describe.

I can't even tell you how many times i cried.

I gave it all up to jesus, and you know what? i don't feel as i once did. like my shoulders were holding everything. I may still think about it, feel somewhat the same. -but to know, and have faith that God can do anything, is a comfort to me. 

My wish for you today, is if anything is bothering you, at all, take it to the lord.

--Pie and Thanksgiving :]  The other day i made three of them, wow, hard work but really yummy.

--Sweet little baby's. I'm sure you've seen this little one many times here, but hey, he's so photogenic, how could I resist??

life has been...

Great really,
there has been lots of things going on lately, the fair, canning tomatoes, re-using my lemonade jumbo cup over and over, endless tomatoes sprouting out of our garden, making muffins, swimming in this hot weather, helping my dad out @ the farm, peach butter, its crazy.

What is you life like for you these days?


Today i saw beastly for the first time today, it was pretty good, i liked it. 
the fair is still going, i'm kinda excited for the demolition derby the most though, ;)

A bit About Me! (Guest Post by Lizzie)

Hey Everyone! My name is Lizzie. Well, to start out I'll tell a bit about myself :) As you already know my name is Lizzie. And I am a 14 year old christian girl. I have been home schooled all my life and love it :)

When taking pictures I enjoy trying to capture the sunlight through the lens of my camera.

I love taking pictures of flowers and just love them in general! :) I love drawing!!! It's such an awesome thing to do! :)

I love writing Christian music and one day hope to be a christian artist! I want to become a song writer and singer because my heart goes out to the broken in the world. And I want somehow to reach them and through music seems the best way for now!

I love horses!!!! My favorite horse breed is the Gypsy Vanner. They are a draft horse that is black and white with feathering around their hoofs. They can also so be brown and white, cream and white, just black, just white, just brown ect...But the black and white is my favorite!

I love taking pictures with my Fujifilm camera and love trying to improve my photography skills every time I take a picture! I love Jesus with all of my heart and strive to know Him better. I want to serve and glorify Him in all that I do. The picture above is my favorite Bible verse. And was my theme verse for last year. Psalm 27:1. I love it because it is so true. Whom shall I fear when the Lord IS my light and my salvation! Amazing verse.

My name is Bethany. I am a fellow blogger over at Priceless Junk, and I am simply delighted to be guest posting on this wonderful blog. This will be a simple about-me post, so here goes.

Most importantly, I am a daughter of Christ and I sing his praises all day, everyday. I am so blessed to have so many fellow believers as fellow bloggers, it's incredible.

I. Love. Photography. That's all there is to it. I only very recently discovered my love (er... obsession) for the hobby, but it has already proven to be very fulfilling. In fact, if it weren't for Rachel here, I would have never had start a blog or photography.

I think she deserves a nice round of applause.

Of course I have other hobbies. Writing. Guitar. Piano. Sewing. Knitting. Reading. Riding horses. Art. Cooking. Re-decorating rooms.
